Dr. Imran Rasul

Dr. Imran Rasul is an active staff at Trillium Health Partners – Credit Valley Hospital where he is in private practice as a gastroenterologist with a particular interest in Therapeutic Endoscopy. He is also a partner at WGTA Endoscopy Clinic.

Dr. Rasul obtained his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology (Summa Cum Laude) at the University of Toronto in 1992, and earned his Medical Degree (Honours) at the University of Toronto in 1996. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine (1999), in Gastroenterology (2001) and in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy and Endoscopic Oncology (2002).

Dr. Rasul has been the recipient of several awards, grants and scholarships over his career. He has been a mentor and teacher for the Advanced Endoscopy Skills for Gastroenterology Training Program at the University of Toronto and a Lecturer at the University of Toronto Medical School.

Dr. Rasul is the current President of the Ontario Association of Gastroenterology. His extensive Committee work has included the Endoscopy Steering Committee at Credit Valley Hospital, the Practice Affairs Committee at the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology, and Secretary for the Section on Gastroenterology of the Ontario Medical Association. He is an active member of the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterology Association.

Dr. Rasul has conducted a number of research projects and has authored and co-authored several publications. He has given many presentations to his peers and community Physicians on a variety of gastroenterology topics.
